The RSC Bioorganic group will hold its annual postgraduate meeting at the School of Chemistry, University of Leeds on Monday 6th April. Postgraduate students are invited to present talks and posters on their research at the meeting. Prizes will be awarded including the Joe Spencer prize for the best talk and the David Kelly prize for the best poster. The deadline for applications to present talks and posters is 27th February 2009; students will be selected for presentations shortly thereafter. Funds to contribute to the cost of student RSC members’ travel to the meeting are available. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The cost of attending the meeting is £10 per delegate.

Research groups must complete a registration form to attend the meeting (see www.chem.leeds.ac.uk/bioorg ) which should be returned to Gail Cole, School of Chemistry, University of Leeds, Leeds, LS2 9JT (g.a.cole_at_leeds.ac.uk)
The meeting will involve talks from PhD students; a poster session; refreshments and lunch; and the AGM of the RSC Bioorganic Group. In addition, Professor Sheena Radford, University of Leeds, will present a plenary lecture at the meeting.
